Hi, I'm Melissa.

I am a social worker, therapist, business owner, and board member of The Gentle Parenting Institute non-profit organization. I'm a mother of three children and too many pets. I like reading, baking, DIY projects, and music that my teenage clients have never heard of, which they really enjoy telling me. I am passionate about providing trauma-informed care, keeping up-to-date on new research and changing best-practices, and representing a friendly and accessible version of therapy that makes people feel welcome.

I am also a human growing and healing and figuring out life right alongside you. Using evidence-based methods from a place of warmth and acceptance, I can help give you the tools, support, and vision it takes to make growth possible. In my practice I don't profess to have all the answers, but what I do have is genuine interest and care for each and every one of my clients and deep appreciation for their willingness to be vulnerable with me. Your joy, pain, strengths, weaknesses, traumas, proud moments, and less proud moments, are all safe to share here.
